What this job involves
  • Leading daily property operations — manage daily client activities for the assigned property or facility, implement building procedures and performance measures, and promote compliance with these standards to improve on-site operations.
  • Getting the clients’ thumbs up — build strong relationships with clients, proactively ensure client expectations are met, and serve as the main point of contact for facilities-related concerns.
  • Keeping an eye on contracts and the budget — manage the site budget, accounting, and financial operations; coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure procurement processes meet contract and budget requirements.
  • Fostering teamwork and excellence — support development through training and coaching; promote collaboration, trust, ethics, and performance excellence; keep the team motivated.
Qualifications
  • Adept at facilities management — six to eight years’ experience in facilities management or related fields; working knowledge of occupational safety; exposure to life sciences environments is a plus; strong background in contract management, budget supervision, customer service, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Highly analytical and engaging — able to resolve complex issues using quantitative and holistic approaches; strong verbal and written communication; proficient in health and safety requirements, vendor management, and property technical systems management.
