Overview

Facilities Engineer role at JLL in Pasay, National Capital Region, Philippines. This onsite Hard Services position supports facilities management and acts as the trusted right hand on all facilities-related activities. You will perform routine site inspections to ensure building processes and best practices are implemented and maintained. You will assist the Facilities Manager to oversee technical operations, and plan and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. You will supervise repair and maintenance work by in-house technical teams and external contractors. You will also support the MSTs' skill enhancement plan for the repair/maintenance of all critical equipment and ensure the accuracy of inspections for facilities-related items needing repair or restoration. You will collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer procurement and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite support and act as the trusted right hand for upper facilities management on all facilities-related activities.
  • Perform routine site inspections to ensure building processes and best practices are implemented and maintained.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager to oversee technical operations and plan/implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and failures.
  • Be the main contact for technical service contractors and supervise repair and maintenance work of in-house teams and contractors.
  • Support the MSTs' skill enhancement plan for the repair/maintenance of all critical equipment and ensure accuracy of inspections for facilities-related items needing repair/restoration.
  • Work with different departments to fulfill customer procurement and statutory requirements.
  • Provide technical support including vendor management, basic housekeeping, and appointment coordination.
  • Meet key performance indicators and service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients and suppliers onsite to identify facility-related inquiries and requirements; participate in procurement of vendors and services as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support safety by maintaining safe workplace procedures and contributing to risk management programs, disaster recovery and business continuity plans; follow escalation and incident reporting procedures and comply with firm guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Passion for service with experience in Facilities Hard Services, Operations and Maintenance of Critical Facilities Equipment (HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical equipment), People and Vendor Management, and Facilities Project Management or related fields.
  • Knowledge of local health and safety protocols and how they are enacted within our workplace environment; flexible, proactive and organized.
  • Team player with a proven track record of flawless project execution, following company standards and procedures; ability to align with our core behaviours.
  • Client-focused enthusiast with the ability to interact with client staff and vendors to deliver efficient services; excellent and resilient communication at all times.
