Overview The Finance and Accounting Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, monitoring inventory, preparing timely financial reports, and supporting administrative functions. This role is vital in ensuring transparent financial processes and informed decision-making through data-driven analysis and trend forecasting. Financial Management Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, assist in budget preparation and monitoring, and ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and internal financial policies. Liaise with auditors and tax consultants, prepare and file tax returns on time, and monitor changes in tax laws to ensure ongoing compliance. Inventory and Asset Management Monitor and manage inventory levels, reconcile inventory records, and conduct physical inventory counts. Maintain accurate asset records and ensure the procurement process is properly documented and efficient. Financial Analysis and Reporting Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions, generate reports that highlight performance indicators and budget variances, and forecast cash flow, revenue trends, and future budget needs. Administrative Support Oversee administrative systems and processes, handle procurement of supplies, support HR tasks, and provide logistical and operational support as needed. Compute and process payroll, ensuring all government contributions and deductions are accurately applied. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in accounting and strong Excel skills including pivot tables and financial functions. Familiarity with inventory systems is a plus. High level of integrity, strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and capacity to work independently while managing multiple priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
