Job Description - Technical Architect (Multiple Openings)

Location: Pateros / Makati / Taguig / Manila area (onsite or hybrid as specified); Employment type: Full-time or contract-based depending on role.

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Technical Architects to design, build, and lead delivery of modern, scalable, cloud-native solutions across varied industries (including Banking/Financial Services, Insurance, CX, AI). Roles involve defining architecture, guiding development teams, ensuring security and regulatory compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end solution design and technical implementation across project lifecycles.
• Define and own the technical architecture for applications (e.g., underwriting, claims, finance, portals) and integration with APIs, web services, and core systems.
• Guide teams through solution delivery lifecycle, code reviews, and architecture governance.
• Drive cloud-native design and deployment (GCP, AWS, Azure, OpenShift) and modern containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure security, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to organizational standards.
• Improve DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud cost optimization; manage technical debt and risk.
• Mentor and lead technical teams, coordinate with vendors, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Prepare technical designs, specifications, and documentation; support presales and governance activities.
• Stay current with relevant technologies and industry best practices; apply AI/CX/data science considerations where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent).
• Typically 5+ years in software development with at least 3 years in a technical lead or architect role; 7+ years for some senior postings.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong background in RESTful APIs, microservices, integration architectures, and software design patterns.
• Experience in one or more industry domains (Banking/Financial Services, Insurance, CX, AI) is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in hybrid/onsite environments and manage cross-functional teams.
