Definition and Management: Provides input in proposal generation and identifies client requirements for large scale complex projects. Translates requirements into high-level design, and coordinates these specifications with project stakeholders. Determines appropriate requirements management methods, tools, and techniques for large and complex projects.

Solution Design and Architecture: Serves as SME in technical solutions for projects such as Application Architecture, Database Architecture, Infrastructure, Integration, and system design. Architect end-to-end solutions with detailed designs; oversee end-to-end delivery from concept to deployment with Project Manager partnership. Provide technical direction and enforce standards and practices; manage software development requirements including repos and development servers. Contribute to best practices.

Systems Design, Integration and Build: Design system components and integration strategies; provide technical expertise for configuring system components for testing; collaborate on integration plans.

Data Modeling and Database Design: Apply data modeling techniques and design data warehouses for medium-sized, complex projects.

Documentation, Architecture Governance and Collaboration: Create and maintain technical docs; conduct architecture reviews; review code and designs for alignment with principles; collaborate to drive consensus; participate in training and delivery efforts.

Technology Evaluation: Design long-term goals, research emerging technologies, stay abreast of trends.

Knowledge Sharing: Assist SA team and participate in process standardization.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Experience: At least 7 years in Software Development with architecture experience; at least 4+ years in software engineer roles (web and mobile); knowledge of APIs, SDKs, languages (PHP, Java, Python, .NET); Infra as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation); API design and microservices; enterprise integration patterns; web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML); version control (SVN, GIT); debugging and optimization; collaboration/tools (Confluence, Jira, Asana, Trello); cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with certification; frameworks like TOGAF and Zachman
