As our Key Account Manager in Davao, you’ll be the bridge between TBO and the vibrant travel agencies of Mindanao, helping partners grow their business, maximize opportunities, and bring unforgettable journeys to life. You’ll champion TBO in the local travel trade, lead exciting campaigns, and ensure our partners see us not just as a platform, but as their go-to travel business partner. Responsibilities Account Management & Growth: Manage and grow a portfolio of key travel agency accounts in Davao and the surrounding regions. Drive adoption of TBO.com’s product lines (Hotels, Flights, Ancillaries, etc.) across partner agencies. Monitor account performance (GMV, booking trends, agent engagement) and implement action plans to hit monthly/quarterly targets. Business Development: Identify and onboard new high-potential travel agencies to expand market share. Revive inactive or low-performing agents through structured engagement programs. Conduct market mapping to identify competitive gaps and opportunities for growth. Relationship Building: Serve as the primary point of contact for agencies, ensuring strong, trust-based relationships. Organize and lead client meetings, product updates, coffee sessions, and roadshows to deepen engagement. Represent TBO.com in local travel trade associations, events, and networking activities. Sales Execution: Achieve sales targets (GMV, Active Agents, New agents) as assigned by the Country Manager. Collaborate with Inside Sales and Sales Support teams to deliver seamless service to partners. Data-Driven Performance: Track and analyze performance using dashboards (Power BI, CRM, reporting tools). Provide account-level insights on growth levers and inhibitors, including product mix, wallet share, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities. Report regular updates on achievements, challenges, and competitive intelligence to management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Marketing, or related field. 3–5 years’ experience in account management, sales, or business development (preferably in travel, hospitality, or related industries). Strong network within the Davao/Mindanao travel trade is a plus. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Highly self-motivated, data-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Willing to travel within Davao and nearby provinces as needed.
