About the Role We are hiring a Spanish Accounts Payable Accountant for one of our clients based in Laguna Technopark, Biñan City, Laguna, Philippines. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and fluency in both Spanish and English . The position involves managing accounts payable operations, validating invoices, supporting audits, and handling treasury activities in compliance with company policies and local regulations. Key Responsibilities Review and validate staff reimbursements and supporting documents in accordance with company policy. Review trade and non‑trade vendor payment applications to ensure compliance with group policies and local tax requirements. Book accurate and timely Accounts Payable and expense entries in the accounting system. Verify invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all transactions are processed within deadlines. Perform monthly intercompany AP reconciliations and analyze AP aging reports to manage outstanding balances. Financial Reporting & Closing Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for the AP and expense modules in SAP . Prepare monthly treasury reports and assist in overall financial analysis and reconciliation. Treasury Management Manage cash and bank accounts, ensuring payments meet cut‑off times and value dates. Coordinate with banks for account openings, closings, and documentation. Address and resolve issues related to payments, cash management, and treasury operations. Audit & Compliance Support quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and external reporting requirements. Collaboration & Support Work closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve invoice and payment issues. Provide assistance in other AP, expense, or treasury‑related tasks and special projects as assigned. Escalate complex issues to higher management when necessary. Qualifications Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics , or related field; CPA preferred . Minimum 1 year of accounting experience ; exposure to Accounts Payable, Expense Accounting, or Treasury is an advantage. Proficiency in SAP is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint . Must be able to work effectively in a multi‑cultural environment and collaborate across all organizational levels. Willing to work on a night shift and onsite in Biñan, Laguna .
