In this role you will be the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for export compliance systems operations, advise with compliance knowledge and technical expertise. You will work with stakeholders to analyze business scenarios in various ERP systems via building reporting tools (queries) and data analyses, propose and validate solutions by performing UAT and production QA to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will help drive process improvements by increasing efficiencies, accuracies and productivity.

Major Responsibilities
  • Export Compliance Program Management for Clients — Collaborate with high profile clients and project leads on multiple large projects spanning across platforms/ERPs (SAP, IMFirst, Impulse, Shipwire, etc.) and multiple development teams; advise with compliance knowledge during requirements gathering.
  • Automation, Process Improvement and System Enhancement — Partner cross-functionally to define data and system requirements, deliver process automation improvements, capture feature/function information in a requirements management tool (BRDs, JIRA, etc.), create test cases and provide UAT results.
  • Performance Metrics, Reporting, and Analysis — Develop key performance metrics and dashboards, produce monthly and ad hoc reports, and perform data mining to support decision-making.
  • Supporting Systems Operations and Auditing — Resolve user issues, enhance scripts/applications, and maintain documentation for scripts/applications.
  • Export Operations Administration — Manage meetings with stakeholders, provide updates on project phases.
Job Qualifications and Educational Requirements
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years as a Business Analyst/Reports Developer or similar analytical role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • MS Office proficiency (including Excel with macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SQL and VBA; knowledge of BI tools (Magellan or similar) a plus; familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP/GTS or other Trade Compliance tools a plus.
  • Strong analytical, data integrity and attention to detail; able to work night shift.
  • Willingness to work in a night shift and adhere to project timelines.
