Competitive Total Rewards (Compensation, Allowance, HMO, and Paid Time Off) Employee Referral Program Work Life Balance Your Role As an AU Accountant, you are responsible for: Manage end-of-month processes according to a detailed Monday.com checklist, including preparing monthly financial reports, reconciliation of the accounting ledger. Weekly banking reconciliation, cashflow forecast and priority supplier payment runs. Manage your direct reports to deliver their work to a high standard, following approved Monday.com checklists, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, End-of-Month tasks, People and Culture, Administration and Events. Foster effective communication and collaboration between offshore and onshore team members, ensuring smooth workflow and alignment with business objectives. Prepare tax lodgements, including: Quarterly Business Activity Statements and monthly Instalment Activity Statements; and working papers for our annual Fringe Benefits Tax Return, Financial Report and Income Tax Return, working with external tax accountants. Assist colleagues with ad hoc financial and administration queries and reports. Act as the primary point of contact for team queries, offering prompt and clear direction to maintain operational efficiency. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related field. 2 - 4 years of experience in a similar role or in an Assistant Accountant role and ready for more. Good level of proficiency and experience in Excel (including Pivot-tables and V-Lookups). Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Excellent time management and organisational skills Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
