Vestas Shared Service Centre – Finance The team is under the Global Finance of Vestas Shared Service Centre. Finance Shared Service Center comprises various Finance functions that support Vestas globally. These functions include Accounts Payable, Travel and Expense, Accounts to Report, Cash Management, Compliance, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Costing and Inventory, Master Data Management, and Finance Controlling teams. These teams are expected to have close collaboration with Regional Finance, Payroll, Factory Controllers, Treasury, Procurement, and other functions of the company. Accounts Payable > Accounts Payable (APC/VWS/NCE) > Vendor Balance & Controls (APC/VWS/NCE) Responsibilities Follow and uphold the governance structure and operating model for Accounts Payable Ensure personal adherence to defined processes, policies, and controls across all AP activities Maintain and update AP process documentation, including SOPs, process flow maps, invoice requirements, and invoice management procedures Work closely with business users to ensure documentation reflects current practices and supports compliance Act as a go-to resource for resolving complex AP issues, including: Invoice Verification & Processing – Ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoice handling Parked Invoice Handling – Investigate and resolve discrepancies to enable proper posting Vendor Reconciliation – Analyze and clear mismatches in vendor accounts GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) Handling – Address and resolve GRIR-related issues Payments Processing – Troubleshoot payment delays or errors and ensure timely execution Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Sourcing, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and support process alignment Provide insights and feedback to improve upstream and downstream processes Participate in global projects, system migrations, and new process setups Support ERP testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate process changes and system functionality Identify opportunities for process improvement and share recommendations with peers and process owners Contribute to the creation and periodic update of training materials and SOPs to reflect evolving processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 4-6 years of experience in Accounts Payable operations Comprehensive working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP/ SAP4 HANA, Oracle, Netsuite, Blackline) for AP processes Problem-solving, methodical, and communication skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance Academic degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field Proficient analytical skills, especially in applying technology solutions to core business problems Advanced written/verbal presentation and communication skills Solid problem-solving skills and an ability to always automate manual tasks What we offer We offer you an engaging role with great professional and personal development opportunities in an inspiring, progressive, international work environment at an established manufacturer of wind turbines.
