Role

Cash Application Analyst

Location: Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines

Reports to: Cash Operations Manager. The role is part of the Finance Services Operations (FSO) function and focuses on cash, disbursement and cash accounting activities including liquidity management of group bank accounts, settlement of intercompany invoices, and coordination/approval of internal and external payments. The position may support projects and ad hoc activities as required by the business.

Responsibilities
  • Efficient daily cash management and cash positioning, working with FSO and other stakeholders.
  • Efficient and timely payment approvals in the banking platform across regions, ensuring controls and processes are followed.
  • Post entries promptly in the financial accounting system to assist swift bank reconciliation.
  • Monitor daily uploads into Cash Manager and ensure completeness.
  • Prepare GL journal files for financial review, loading, and posting.
  • Follow up on unresolved postings with Treasury, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable and Credit Control; run AR Direct Debit.
  • Support bank to general ledger reconciliations and related activities.
  • Support finance teams during high volumes or complex resolutions to meet group KPI targets and reporting deadlines.
  • Ad hoc reporting and requests from Group or local finance.
Essential Skills
  • Good understanding of internal controls related to the activities performed.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work under pressure. SAP knowledge is desirable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor/Master/MBA in finance, accounting, business, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in treasury/cash management or banking (preferred).
  • Experience with accounts payable/receivable and understanding of accounting concepts and tight deadlines.
  • Experience with reconciliation processes and implementing financial controls.
