We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Reporting Head to join our finance team within the insurance industry. Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting functions for a non-life insurance company, ensuring accurate financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision support for senior management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities - Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Develop and oversee annual budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic plans across all business lines.
• Lead the quarterly and annual planning processes, coordinating with underwriting, claims, and investment teams.
• Prepare variance analysis and provide insights on budget performance against actuals.
• Support business development initiatives with financial modeling and profitability analysis.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP).
• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to insurance authorities and other regulatory bodies.
• Prepare management reporting packages including KPIs, profitability analysis by product line, and trend analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards for executive leadership and board reporting.
• Collaborate with actuarial teams on reserve adequacy analysis and loss ratio monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with solvency requirements and capital adequacy regulations.
• Support internal and external audit processes, addressing findings and implementing recommendations.
• Monitor and report on key financial risks including underwriting, investment, and operational risks.
• Lead and develop a team of financial analysts and reporting specialists.
• Establish and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on insurance accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and investment departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA/CFA/ACCA preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in insurance.
• Strong background in insurance accounting principles and regulatory frameworks; experience with statutory reporting and solvency regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools; knowledge of insurance core systems and accounting software; understanding of IFRS 17/local regulations.

Experience

• 9 years in Financial Management (required in experience listing).
• Non-life insurance industry experience preferred.

Salary: ₱960,000 - ₱1,200,000 (annual)

Key Responsibilities

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive finance leadership, with at least 5 years as CFO or equivalent executive-level role.
• Experience in international multi-entity financial management (UK/Europe + Asia/Philippines preferred).
• Experience in project-based accounting (design/construction/manufacturing) and manufacturing/operational finance.
• Expertise in international taxation, transfer pricing, cross-border compliance, and multi-currency treasury.

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead financial strategy in alignment with project delivery and international expansion.
• Partner with CEO and Board on investments, funding, and capital structuring.
• Provide strategic financial insights for pricing, costing, and profitability of high-value projects.

Operations & Compliance

• Oversee finance operations across multiple jurisdictions (UK, France, Spain, Philippines).
• Manage consolidated financial reporting, audits, statutory accounts, tax compliance.
• Implement budgeting, forecasting, and project profitability tracking with cost controls.
• Monitor cash flow, margins, and working capital for global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA required; MBA advantageous.

• ERP and financial systems experience; strong communication and stakeholder management.

Role Overview

The CFO will complete NetSuite implementation closeout and optimize forecasting, reporting, and cash visibility. The role requires deep commercial finance experience in DTC or BPO environments, connecting unit economics, CAC/LTV, supply chain costs, and AI-enabled modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead NetSuite closeout and optimization; ensure reporting, controls, and forecasting are functional.
• Train internal teams and document workflows with project manager/developer.
• Model profitability by SKU, channel, and campaign.
