The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and security of employee data while providing technical support to HR team members and end‑users. The specialist generates reports for HR analytics, supports system integrations, and collaborates across departments to improve HR processes and efficiency. Responsibilities: Administer and support HRIS and benefits systems, ensuring accurate data management and compliance. Collaborate with HR and vendors to enhance system functionality, resolve issues, and implement updates. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining up‑to‑date employee records. Conduct regular audits and prepare reports or analytics to support HR operations and decision‑making. Manage HRIS transitions, including year‑end and new‑year activities. Provide troubleshooting and general HR support as needed. Qualifications: At least 3 years of related HR or HRIS experience with knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Skilled in testing, analyzing, and supporting HR software and systems, including HRIS and data analytics tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Able to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively. HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP) preferred; familiarity with payroll, benefits administration, or performance management modules is a plus.
