About the role LINKQUICK TRANS CARGO LOGISTICS is seeking an experienced Head Accountant to join our team in Caloocan City, Metro Manila. As Head Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic guidance to our leadership team. What you'll be doing Overseeing all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and other reports for management and external stakeholders Implementing and maintaining efficient accounting systems and internal controls to ensure financial compliance Analyzing financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for improving financial performance Collaborating with departmental managers to develop and monitor budgets Ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements Supervising and mentoring the accounting team to foster a positive and productive work environment What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably in the logistics industry Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of accounting professionals Thorough understanding of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and internal control best practices What we offer We are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
