Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of B.O.B. Performance & Accessories Inc. This role will be responsible for managing supply chain processes, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and customer service functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of operational efficiency in the distribution and retail sectors. The Operations Manager will focus on ensuring seamless operations that support business growth and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee and manage the entire operations process, including procurement, supply chain, warehouse, inventory management, and logistics.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely restocking of products to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure smooth coordination between departments and alignment of operational goals.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, optimizing the logistics and distribution network to meet customer expectations.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality service, competitive pricing, and timely deliveries from suppliers.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and issues to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the operations team to ensure high levels of performance and job satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all operational activities.
- Analyze data to identify trends, optimize resource allocation, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and logistics costs, to present to senior management.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems to streamline operations and improve overall performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the automotive, motorcycle, or distribution industries.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies and drive efficiency improvements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges quickly.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proficient in the use of operations management software, systems, and MS Office tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and a commitment to continuous improvement.
