We’re looking for a Commercial Manager for our business across Southeast Asia. The role will be focusing on accelerating growth and improving commercial agility. You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience
  • Deep knowledge of contract and commercial management and relevant regulations.
  • A strong commercial and business focus is essential, with an understanding of how to use corporate finance models like Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).
  • Proven experience in preparing, negotiating, and managing contracts for services from start to finish.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate and network with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation ability to secure favorable outcomes for the business.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, engineering, or finance is required.
What You’ll Do
  • Establish, manage, and review contracts to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards, using company templates or customer formats.
  • Proactively negotiate contract terms and payment conditions with customers and stakeholders to mitigate risks and secure favorable business outcomes.
  • Identify and assess contractual risks, then strategically mitigate them through negotiation to protect project delivery.
  • Develop cost spreadsheets (ECS), determine project requirements, and evaluate contract options based on financial metrics like Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).
  • Assist sales teams by providing commercial input on tenders and prequalification questionnaires and by negotiating customer terms and conditions.
  • Oversee all commercial correspondence, manage the flow of information between internal teams and customers, and clarify technical queries.
  • Offer commercial and technical support for large-scale, non-project work, ensuring commercial oversight of engineering, operations, and safety documentation.
  • Help create contracting strategies that align with the organization\'s goals and operational requirements.
  • Advise on contract variations and dispute resolution to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Review and approve supplier terms and conditions to safeguard business interests.
