Job Description

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Strategies and Continuous Improvements
  • Develop and regularly review the supply chain strategies based on Target Market to Sales requirements and execute the defined strategic measures in alignment with Marketing, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Procurement.
  • Reinforce company policies and guidelines, and support service levels based on customer requirements from marketing and/or target market strategies.
  • Drive optimization initiatives toward processes and potential technologies according to business needs with defined risk management tools.
  • Support data integrity requirements and maintenance for supply chain processes.
  • Benchmark or lead supply chain best practices to drive successful project implementation and execution.
• Performance
  • Steer, manage, and optimize inventories.
  • Monitor and manage supply chain performance and stakeholders through KPIs, benchmarks, and service levels.
  • Help enhance or exceed defined KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, on-time in full, and cost efficiencies) in coordination with Marketing, Target Market, and Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.
  • Identify cost drivers within supply chain responsibilities and contribute to effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Support inventory and logistics cost efficiencies.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior.
• People
  • Develop the supply chain organization and build a top-performing team with enhanced capabilities.
  • Set measurable targets to monitor the team’s performance.
  • Lead and guide the local supply chain team to execute defined strategies effectively and efficiently.
• Production and Supply Planning
  • Manage planned purchases from material planning requisitions generated by ERP systems (e.g., AX, SAP) for local production based on historical trends, actual sales, production load, capacity, inventory, and back/open orders.
  • Provide sense checks of the Master Production Schedule before submission for approval to cascaded departments (Marketing, Sales, Customer Service), including forecast calculations from Target Market and/or sales vs. actual production.
  • Collaborate with Production Planner and Demand Planner from Target Market and Procurement for SIOP meetings to balance stock priorities and monitor forecast accuracy.
• Inventory Management
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels per Target Market and/or Sales requirements and take action for outliers or misaligned targets.
  • Manage inventory levels aligned with finance thresholds and aging targets to improve network capital.
  • Oversee all stocked items for local production, including raw and packaging materials and finished goods, and monitor shipments to ensure timely product availability.

Qualifications

Education:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering or a Supply Chain related course

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of extensive experience in construction, chemical, or adhesives industries managing procurement materials/products
• Demonstrated flexibility in a fast-paced working environment
• High standards of compliance, integrity, and professionalism
• Strong knowledge of government rules and regulations (e.g., import/export processes, government agency certifications and documentation)
