Responsibilities
  • Implementation of self-service products whether part of a project or stand-alone (post-implementation). Communicate effectively with airport/airline customers to collect onboarding information.
  • Efficient and timely configuration of airline/airport onto the Amadeus self-service product (e.g., WLA, bag tagger, kiosk, etc.) applications.
  • Develop/prepare test plans, objectives, and test scripts/cases (manual or automated) that meet project scope and are delivered on schedule for the self-service product.
  • Execute test strategy/scripts/scenarios required to validate the solution or configuration on the self-service product.
  • Ensure all test results and system defects are documented according to Amadeus standards for tracking and future reference.
  • Provide testing support to the airport/airline customer during user acceptance testing; analyze and troubleshoot reported issues.
  • Establish, document and manage testing environments, processes and procedures to ensure testing is completed within Amadeus standards in the target test environment.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to obtain support for managing, tracking and resolving issues identified during internal QA and user acceptance testing.
  • Initiate, identify and implement improvements to testing processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Work on shift rotations (APAC or EMEA/NORAM) due to the global range of customers.
About The Ideal Candidate
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Tourism background considered with interest or background in technology.
  • At least 1 year of experience using Amadeus or exposure to the travel industry.
  • Knowledge of Airport or Airline Departure Control operations – Customer Management.
  • Experience in development or implementation environments or equivalent.
  • Equivalent work experience with extensive testing service delivery.
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence, Project Management, Python, Windows or Unix, SQL.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Client management and project management skills.
  • Amenable to a hybrid work setup. Location: BGC, Taguig. Flexible with work schedule.
