The Role The Human Resource Manager will lead, direct, and manage the day-to-day human resources and administrative activities of the firm in a specific region. The HR Manager provides oversight and guidance on recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation and benefits, training and development, and administrative functions, and offers strategic HR and administration guidance to the office and region assigned. Responsibilities & Duties Recruitment, Selection, and Hiring Manage the recruitment and selection process. Review job requirements and ensure that recruitment, hiring, and selection are followed to fill open positions within the agreed timeframe. Performance Management Set appraisal requirements and oversee performance evaluations to drive high performance. Employee Relations Support business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and retention of team members. Design, update, and maintain company policies, procedures, and regional organizational structure; develop and update job descriptions. Bridge team member demands, grievances, and other issues with department heads and partners. Foster a happy, productive, and positive working environment; ensure compliance with firm policies. Manage recruitment and selection processes and ensure timely filling of positions. Compensation and Benefits Maintain and design pay plans and benefits programs for all team members; review salaries annually for compliance and to avoid distortion. Training and Development Assess training needs and monitor and evaluate training program objectives. HR Administration Ensure compliance with local labor regulations; manage filing systems and records; review and administer service contracts and agreements. Facilities Management Ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained facility meeting environmental, health, and safety standards. Safety Officer Role Oversee workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards; conduct risk assessments and emergency drills. Qualifications Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an HR-related field at the managerial level. Knowledgeable in basic accounting, payroll, and government benefit reports/processes. Advanced technical skills in documentation; experience in training and mentoring. Knowledgeable in contract services and local government requirements. Preferably living within the vicinity or willing to relocate to Metro Manila or nearby area. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; analytical and detail-oriented. Knowledgeable of basic computer operations and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Additional Requirements: Certification as a Safety Officer is an advantage or willingness to undergo training; excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Expected Hours of Work Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Overtime may be required during peak times. Travel Potential to travel to the firm's headquarters in the United States for training opportunities. Supervisory Responsibility May be required.
