Overview Join to apply for the Human Resource Payroll Specialist role at JPMorganChase . As a HRSD Senior Professional within the Human Resource Services Division, you will manage HR functions related to payroll, including timekeeping, reporting, compliance, and the execution of diverse payroll strategies to ensure precision. You will collaborate with HR teams to facilitate payroll processes, contribute to projects, and assist HR initiatives as required. You will support regional and global efforts, including role expansions and ad-hoc projects designed to improve processes and functions. Responsibilities Cover payroll functions from timekeeping, payroll reporting, compliance, and other payroll strategies and initiatives to ensure accuracy of payroll. Work with various HR teams to support payroll processes, projects, reporting, and HR efforts as needed. Support regional and/or global initiatives, including role expansions and ad-hoc projects as part of process/procedure/functional enhancements. Assist in the regular quality check of work processes to ensure error-free processing and provide training on the process, systems and applications when required. Manage final pay and retirement releasing operations. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting requirements. Manage tax updates, manual payroll inputs, and final pay processing of employees each payout. Recommend new approaches, policy enhancements and innovations to continually improve department services. Update job knowledge and participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain strategic networking; and engage in development tasks and expanded roles. Perform duties as required from time to time. Qualifications Bachelor’s/College degree. At least 5 years of experience specializing in Payroll Administration. Extensive experience in statutory regulatory reporting requirements. Ability to interact with employees across varying organizational levels. Effective multitasking, project management and stress management skills. Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills. Analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other productivity platforms. Proactive, resourceful, analytical and willing to invest long hours in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or accounting-related background/experience.
