The Procurement Officer is responsible for the end-to-end procurement of high-value/low-risk items. He/She must adhere to the faithful implementation and compliance with the policies, procedures, and work instructions outlined in the Procurement ISO Manual. Main Responsibilities Regularly analyze, organize, and recommend procurement plans for their items Receive and review purchase requisitions (PRs), and consolidate items by category Propose target prices for bottleneck items, seek quotations from suppliers, and negotiate to meet the target prices Identify potential opportunities and collaborate closely with stakeholders to maximize value Recommend equivalent options and conduct studies to determine the best value for strategic and leverage items Prepare canvas sheets and ensure that all supplier requirements are met Prepare contract and purchase orders (POs) Provide a copy of the approved POs to the suppliers to ensure delivery schedules are met Address end users' and suppliers' queries about the handled categories Prepare performance evaluation sheets for the relevant suppliers on a quarterly and/or annual basis Minimum Qualifications Must be a graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering Must have at least 2 years of related work experience Required skills: MS Excel, MS Word, communication/negotiation skills, contracts management, and vendor management PRC license is a plus Must be willing to work at BGC, Taguig City #J-18808-Ljbffr
