Overview

The Video Content Creator is a pivotal role within our organization who will help grow the digital presence of Taskparent and One Bed, while also assisting the marketing team with day-to-day tasks. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who thrives in front of the camera, has a passion for storytelling, and is also highly organized and dependable behind the scenes.

The successful candidate will be both the face of both brands on socials and a key team player helping with marketing coordination and execution.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation
  • Brainstorm, present, develop, and execute content strategies and ideas that align with brand goals for both Taskparent and One Bed
  • Plan, write, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest
  • Be the on-camera personality for content that’s authentic, humorous, and engaging
  • Edit additional video content featuring strong content flow, appealing graphics, UGC, product visuals, or other talents
  • Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates, and viral formats
  • Track and report on content performance to inform future strategy
• Content Management
  • Assist the marketing team with day-to-day tasks, project coordination, and campaign execution
  • Help organize creative assets, update marketing calendars, and track deadlines
  • Support influencer outreach, product gifting, and content follow-up
  • Organize and manage marketing files, folders, and internal documents to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Be a proactive team player, assisting in various marketing-related projects as needed

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

• Education & Certification: At least 2 years of college
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in content creation as a brand talent, videography, or digital media; prior experience assisting in a marketing or creative environment is a plus; comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-driven setting; must have an established social media presence with a significant following (preferably TikTok and/or YouTube)
• Skills & Expertise: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent); familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus; basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and sound recording techniques; excellent English communication skills (minimum C1 EFSET level); strong time management, multitasking, and attention to detail
• Technical Requirements: Personal computer with Intel 6th Gen+/AMD Ryzen 1000+ CPU, 8GB RAM, 2GB GPU VRAM, 8GB storage min available, and Windows 10+ or macOS Monterey+; reliable residential internet connection (25 Mbps minimum); webcam and microphone-ready headset; must be able to work full-time: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day, 5 days/week); willingness to take on additional tasks as needed by leadership; excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote teams; EFSET C1 Proficient User rating.
