Key Responsibilities Client Advisory & Communication Serve as the lead accounting advisor for a portfolio of high-value clients. Conduct monthly or quarterly client meetings to review financials and provide insights. Translate complex financial information into actionable business guidance. Proactively identify opportunities, risks, and coaching moments. Team Coaching & Support Support bookkeepers and junior accountants with technical accounting reviews. Coach team members on accounting best practices and client communication. Provide training and quality control support for internal deliverables. Financial Oversight Review monthly/quarterly financials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity. Monitor KPIs and trends for clients and communicate implications clearly. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projects as needed. Workflow & Technology Ensure accurate tracking and completion of client work using Karbon (experience preferred). Maintain excellent documentation and follow-up on advisory items. Help refine internal workflows and client experience touchpoints. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required) US CMA, CPA, or equivalent designation (CMA strongly preferred) Experience in audit a plus. 7+ years in accounting or controller roles, in a client-facing capacity Demonstrated success advising small-to-mid-sized business clients Outstanding English verbal and written communication skills High emotional intelligence and professional presence with clients Experience mentoring or coaching junior accounting staff Familiarity with cloud accounting platforms (QBO/Xero, etc.) QBO Pro Advisor Level 1 and 2 certification Experience with Karbon or similar work management tools is a significant asset Confidence navigating ambiguity and guiding clients through change Core Perks and Benefits: HMO on your first day + Free coverage for 2 dependents on your 2nd year Government-mandated benefits 20 Annual Leave Credits 13th-month pay Birthday Leave Bereavement Leave Work Set-up: Work from home set up This position is exclusively open to Philippine citizens currently living in the Philippines.
