Job description The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Job Description Responsibilities: Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues Nurture a positive working environment Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings Prepares budget for human resources operations Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, in any field. At least 5 years experience as Assistant Manager / Manager specializing in Human Resources or equivalent. At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. People-oriented and results-driven Demonstrable experience with HR metrics Knowledge of HR systems and databases Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices Full-Time position(s) available #J-18808-Ljbffr
