Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, record keeping, and basic financial reporting. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with basic accounting knowledge who are eager to grow their career in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities
  • Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
  • Perform basic clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and document preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
