Job Description:
The Production Manager oversees planning, coordination, and execution of live events and productions to ensure high-quality, safe, and memorable experiences. - Supervise technical aspects of live events (stage setup, lighting design, audio, special effects) and troubleshoot as needed.
- Monitor production budgets and provide regular financial updates to senior management.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance standards; secure necessary permits and approvals as required.
- Lead and motivate a team of production professionals (stage managers, technicians, support staff).
- Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements based on lessons learned.
Formal Education or Equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Production, or a closely related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Related Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in the live events industry, with a focus on concert and fan meet productions.
- Proven track record of planning and executing diverse live events; ability to adapt to different genres and scales.
Skills
- Technical production knowledge (stage design, lighting, sound, AV equipment).
- Project management and detailed scheduling skills; ability to manage multiple timelines and resources.
- Budget management, financial reporting, and cost-control capabilities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for collaboration with artists, vendors, and teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for events.
