Role Accountant (India, remote support for the UK team) Responsibilities Support the Client Manager/Accounting Manager in delivering high‑quality accounting services to a portfolio of UK SME clients, including bank reconciliations, fixed assets, register maintenance, raising journals, and preparing financial reports. Prepare unaudited financial statements, VAT quarterly submissions, and provide payroll support for clients. Understand and adhere to UK financial regulations and legislation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third‑party consultants on specifications. Qualifications Recognized degree/diploma in Accountancy. At least three years of UK accounting experience. Experience managing a portfolio of clients. Good understanding of IFRS and regulatory compliance. Highly proficient in Excel, Xero, Dext, and QuickBooks; additional software experience is advantageous. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, proactiveness, self‑drive, interpersonal, communication skills, and English fluency.
