Your Role: Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to management. Tax Compliance & Planning Prepare and submit local and national tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other applicable taxes. Ensure timely compliance with all tax regulations, minimizing tax liabilities and identifying opportunities for tax savings. Accounting Management Oversee day-to-day accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and classified. AP Voucher Entry and cash application AR cash recording Vendor reconciliations Bank reconciliations GL JE preparation Standard / actual costing of inventory receipts Invoice management with portals AR / AP aging reviews Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Analyze financial data to support business forecasting and performance measurement. Internal Controls & Audit Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure financial integrity and prevent fraud. Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors during the audit process to ensure accuracy and compliance. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Track cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability. Provide recommendations on improving liquidity and optimizing cash flow. Strategic Financial Guidance Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term business planning. Collaborate with senior management to set financial goals and performance targets. What You Need Expertise in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. In-depth knowledge of e-commerce financial systems and workflows is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
