Job Title Corporate Accountant (U.S. Accounting | QuickBooks Expert) Location Remote – Philippines Employment Type Full-time Reports To U.S. Finance Director / CEO About the Role We are urgently hiring a Senior Corporate Accountant to support a U.S.-based company with full-cycle accounting, payroll, and financial operations. The ideal candidate has deep QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) expertise and hands‑on experience with U.S. GAAP, U.S. payroll, and state/federal compliance. This is a fast‑paced role that requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Benefits and Compensation Permanent Work from Home Paid Time Off Monthly Performance Bonus Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities U.S. Accounting Operations: Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end closing in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Payroll Administration: Process U.S. payroll using ADP and Paylocity (experience with these platforms preferred but not required); ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations, including taxes, deductions, and filings. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports using Phantom and Qvinci for financial consolidation and reporting (experience with these systems preferred but not required); provide insights to management and external stakeholders. Tax Support: Assist in U.S. tax preparation and filing, including 1099s, W-2s, and state/local tax requirements. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee vendor payments, billing, collections, and expense tracking. Audit & Compliance: Support year‑end audits, maintain documentation for compliance, and assist external auditors as needed. Process Improvement: Identify gaps and propose automation or workflow enhancements to improve efficiency. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with HR, operations, and leadership to align financials with business goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of accounting experience supporting U.S.-based clients or entities. Advanced QuickBooks proficiency (Online and/or Desktop). Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. payroll, and federal/state tax compliance. Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations for U.S. companies. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal. Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to meet tight deadlines. Comfortable working U.S. business hours and communicating directly with U.S. stakeholders.
