Location: Manila, Philippines

About the role

Are you looking for an opportunity to innovate with brands? The role involves developing strategy, creative concepts, content and campaign implementation. This position will benefit those with experience leading digital content and social campaigns within a creative agency.

The Planner will report to the Global Planning & Strategy Director and partner with the account, delivery, and creative team leads. It is a client-facing role where you will work closely with the client brand team, central marketing project teams, and the client’s agency partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and entrepreneurial thinker within a rewarding partnership between OLIVER and the client team, with an established global footprint.

What you will be doing
  • Develop insights and strategic responses to briefs across campaign, content and new product development briefs
  • Champion and drive a mobile-first and short-form content agenda
  • Evaluate ideas and concepts against client best practices, strategy frameworks and mobile-first approaches
  • Establish effective ways of working with the client’s internal teams and specialist partners
  • Act as a content expert and advocate within the client team
  • Advise clients on approaches to effective Content Strategies that inform content briefs and requirements
  • Assess, develop and implement content strategies to meet client briefs across touchpoints
  • Manage and facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and workshops with client teams and specialist partners (Search, Social, Media, CRM, Ecommerce, Content and Data)
  • Facilitate right-first-time content through insights and collaboration to direct content strategy
  • Collaborate with account directors, brand and media in developing measurement approaches to ensure effectiveness is defined and tracked
What you need to be great in this role
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Strategy role with Content Strategy as a core function
  • Strong understanding of Content Marketing (Social, Mobile, Search, Display, Dotcom, E-commerce, Digital OOH)
  • Strong understanding of Content: Formats, Performance, Testing, Optimisation, and Search (SEM-SEO)
  • Strong understanding of Content Publishing and Distribution methods and technologies
  • Ability to interpret multi-channel insight reports
  • Ability to present and justify work based on robust insights
  • Passionate about Content and trends in AI and technology
  • Proven experience in a multi-stakeholder environment and in leading workshops
  • Self-starter who can work in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile team
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with FMCG, particularly Personal Care or Beauty brands, is a must
  • Interest in AI and new technologies; understanding of AI tools is beneficial, but the ability to learn quickly is critical
  • Willingness to learn and incorporate AI into design processes
