Responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility, product availability, and sales growth through retail and distribution channels. This role focuses on building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and sales teams to ensure that products are effectively promoted and positioned in the market. The Trade Marketing Manager works closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to create and implement promotional plans that align with the company’s overall objectives. Budget & Financial Management: Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Track and report on ROI for trade marketing activities and adjust plans to maximize financial performance. Ensure compliance with internal budgetary guidelines and financial reporting requirements. Trade Marketing Strategy Development: Design and implement trade marketing strategies tailored to each retail or wholesale channel. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align trade activities with overall brand objectives. Develop promotional campaigns to boost product visibility and sales in key markets. Promotions & Campaigns: Design and execute promotional activities (e.g., in-store promotions, retailer incentives, trade shows) to increase product visibility and sales. Manage trade marketing budgets and ensure that promotional activities provide a good return on investment. Work with the marketing team to develop point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and other in-store marketing tools. Customer & Channel Insights: Conduct market research and analyze customer insights to identify opportunities within trade channels. Develop an understanding of retail dynamics and consumer behaviors to better position products. Track competitor activities and market trends to refine trade strategies. Sales Collaboration & Support: Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between trade marketing activities and sales objectives. Provide insights to the sales team regarding product performance, customer feedback, and market trends. Develop sales tools and presentations to assist the sales team in communicating trade marketing initiatives to retailers and distributors. Market Research & Insights: Conduct regular market analysis to assess the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement. Analyze customer feedback, sales data, and other key metrics to determine the success of trade marketing initiatives. Identify and explore new market opportunities or untapped channels to drive growth. Team Management: Timely Monitoring and checking of team attendance. Review current org chart, JO, KPIs & handbook. Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor the performance of trade marketing campaigns using key metrics (e.g., sales lift, retail penetration). Analyze sales data and market conditions to assess the impact of trade marketing activities.
