We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting. As a key member of the finance department, the Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Position Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends. Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards. Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities. Provide recommendations for cost optimization and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards. Participate in the preparation and coordination of audits, addressing auditor inquiries and implementing audit recommendations. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and assess their impact on financial reporting. Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial results. Investigate and provide explanations for significant variances, working collaboratively with relevant departments. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making. Analyze various financial scenarios and provide insights into potential outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and support departmental initiatives. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
