We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper to support the efficient day-to-day operations of our finance function. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in small business finance or accounting, who can confidently manage daily transactions, track payments, and maintain accurate financial records. High involvement in processing financial activities, including balance sheet maintenance, client billing, and vendor coordination. A proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy in keeping financial operations organized and audit ready. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Update financial systems with daily transactions to ensure accurate and timely records in QuickBooks Online. Prepare and maintain balance sheets and support payroll processing to support accurate financial tracking and reporting. Track and reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring all records are complete and error-free. Manage accounts receivable, including client billing and follow-ups for outstanding payments. Process invoices and handle ongoing communication with clients, suppliers, and partners in ConnectWise. Contribute to quarterly and annual audits, ensuring documentation and records are in order for compliance and review. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance , Business Management and any related field (or equivalent experience). At least 2 years experience working in and managing a small to medium business finance or accounting department. Proven background as a Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk, or a similar role. Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is highly required. Experience with Bill.com , Expensify , and ConnectWise is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles with a solid grasp of financial processes. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Strong communication skills for client communication. Can amend work during the night shift, holidays, and weekends. Amenable to work in Tayabas, Quezon Province for onsite reporting.
