Junior Accounting Associate (AR/AP) - AU Join to apply for the Junior Accounting Associate (AR/AP) - AU role at Guild Solutions, Inc. The Junior Accounting Associate will provide essential support to the finance team by managing day‑to‑day Accounts Receivable (AR) and/or Accounts Payable (AP) functions for Australian operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational accounting knowledge, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to financial administration. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable (AR) Generate and issue invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies. Assist with cash application and bank reconciliations. Accounts Payable (AP) Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments. Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy. Maintain vendor records and respond to payment‑related inquiries. Assist with monthly AP reconciliations and reporting. General Accounting Support Assist with month‑end closing activities and journal entries. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Support internal audits and compliance checks. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 12 years of experience in AR and/or AP functions (internship or entry‑level experience acceptable). Familiarity with Australian financial regulations and GST/BAS concepts. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, SAP, or similar). Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Preferred Experience working in a shared services or multi‑entity environment. Exposure to payroll or expense management systems. Understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
