The role We are looking for an experienced Proposals and Contracts Manager to join our growing team. As a Proposal and Contracts Manager at Southern Star, you’ll work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, ensuring that client requests are appropriately addressed throughout the proposal process. The position is a full-time remote position, with flexibility to be based in Malaysia or the Philippines. Reporting to the Head of Proposals and Contracts, you’ll be responsible for: Preparation of new project proposals and contractual documents, including Master Service Agreements and Work Orders. Working collaboratively with the business development team, strategy team, heads of department and operational teams to ensure that client requests are appropriately addressed within the proposal. Liaising with the finance team to oversee timely invoicing and accurate project finance tracking. Supporting the Head of Projects and Project Managers to ensure compliance with contract procedures. Attendance at bid defence meetings as needed. Accurate tracking of change orders within the CRM. Leadership of change in scope meetings, actioning follow-up items as required. To be successful in the role, we’re looking for candidates with: Appropriate tertiary qualifications in the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare disciplines. A minimum of 5 years' proposals experience within a CRO environment. Proven track record in the development and management of budgets. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. The ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing projects and deadlines, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail. Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated business ethics and integrity. Why Southern Star?
