The AVP – Procurement is responsible for leading the procurement function for a luxury hospitality organization, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, timely delivery, and compliance with company standards. This role oversees strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement operations for categories such as Food & Beverage, Hotel Operations, Facilities, and Corporate Services. Key Responsibilities Strategic Procurement Leadership Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with hospitality business objectives. Drive cost optimization and process improvements across all procurement activities. Category Management Oversee procurement for hospitality‑specific categories: Food & Beverage: Ingredients, beverages, kitchen equipment. Hotel Operations: Linen, guest amenities, housekeeping supplies. Facilities & Maintenance: Engineering supplies, utilities. Corporate Services: Marketing, IT, and administrative needs. Vendor & Supplier Relations Build strong partnerships with local and international suppliers. Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality and service standards. Contract Negotiation & Compliance Negotiate favorable terms for large‑scale hospitality contracts. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company procurement policies. Budget & Cost Control Monitor procurement budgets and deliver cost‑saving initiatives. Provide regular reporting on spend analysis and supplier performance. Team Leadership Lead and mentor procurement managers and specialists. Promote ethical sourcing and continuous improvement culture. Risk & Sustainability Management Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity. Drive sustainability initiatives in sourcing and vendor selection. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field (master's preferred). Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within hospitality. Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Knowledge of hospitality procurement systems and ERP platforms. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Certifications: CPM, CPSM, or equivalent (preferred).
