Head of Human Resources First Life Insurance Company, Inc. Makati City | Full-time | On-site About the Role: The Head of Human Resources will lead and oversee the entire HR function of First Life Insurance, ensuring all HR strategies, programs, and systems support the company’s business objectives, regulatory requirements, and people development goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals and long-term business plans. Talent Acquisition & Development: Lead recruitment for both agency (licensed advisors, sales leaders) and non-agency roles; oversee employee learning and development programs to strengthen organizational capabilities. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll: Ensure accurate and timely payroll administration, statutory compliance, and competitive compensation and benefits programs. Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive, compliant, and high-performance workplace culture through proactive engagement initiatives and effective grievance management. Performance Management: Drive performance appraisal systems that support business priorities and employee growth. Policy Development & Compliance: Oversee HR policy formulation and ensure adherence to DOLE, Insurance Commission, and Data Privacy regulations. HR Systems & Analytics: Maintain accurate HR data and leverage analytics for strategic decision-making. Leadership & Team Management: Mentor and develop the HR team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and service excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). At least 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and insurance industry standards. Proven track record in strategic HR management, organizational development, and people leadership. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills. Why Join First Life Insurance?
