I.BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

Responsible for directing an organization’s strategic and long range goals. He/She is responsible for conducting organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate for conducting organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Supports the Board of Directors (BOD) in portfolio strategy decision and targeted strategic business units in the development of their corresponding strategies.

  • Supports the BOD in making portfolio or “market choice” including new existing markets through various channels, taking into account shifts in technology, customers’ preferences and evolution of business models.

  • Generates reports, budget and P & L review to be submitted to TRLEI and UEC board.

  • Conducts special functions such as initial marketing, branding, competitive monitoring across all IR’s and customer feedback.

  • Handles specific projects related to strategy where needed.

  • Captures innovations and new knowledge created internally and share throughout the organization where relevant.

  • Seizes market opportunities the organization where situations and assess best way forward to capture opportunities that could further increase the revenue of the company.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field

  • Master’s Degree strategy is an advantage

Experience Requirements :

  • Experience in developing and evaluating business plans

  • At least 4 years’ experience in strategy, corporate planning, or business development role

  • Understanding of digital marketing trends

Skills and Attributes:

Leadership Skills:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking

  • Ability to lead project teams and conduct training sessions

  • Strong business acumen with high sense of accountability

  • Strategic Management

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

  • Social Media Analytics

  • Usage of key strategic frameworks (e.g. 5 forces,SWOT Analysis Internal and external analysis etc.)

  • Performance Evaluation Metrics for organizations

  • Budgeting skills

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret complex data and numbers

  • Excellent Communication skills

  • Confident in liaising with C- level executives

  • Doestask with high level of integrity
