Overview

A Site Manager oversees daily operations at a construction or project site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. They manage teams, coordinate resources, maintain safety, and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Planning, scheduling, and managing all on-site activities.
  • Supervising and coordinating the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
  • Resource Management: Overseeing the allocation and utilization of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
  • Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Quality Control: Conducting regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the project.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of project progress, costs, and other relevant information.
Qualifications
  • Experience in finishing and delivering the project in an above-satisfactory manner.
  • Flexible, with organizational, project management, planning skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with other professionals.
  • Decisive and able to think clearly in critical decision making; should have rational judgment.
  • Multi-tasker with time management skills.
  • Logical, analytical mind with a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Strong visual awareness and keen eye to detail combined with critical understanding.
  • High levels of creativity, imagination and vision.
  • Willing to be assigned to different locations.
