The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for managing the company’s payment cycle, including processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and providing financial and administrative support.

You will be required to work onsite for the 1st and 2nd day, after which you will transition to a hybrid setup, once a month (every 2nd Wednesday of the Month), following Australian business hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Philippine Time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate supplier and client information records
  • Process payable invoices, credit card receipts, and supplier payments
  • Manage credit applications and prepare taxable payment reports
  • Handle account and debtor reconciliation, including ledger management
  • Prepare company payroll and quarterly superannuation payments (temporary)
  • Complete new employee forms and maintain payroll files and systems
  • Provide administrative and accounting support while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a high-volume accounts team
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and systems
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting procedures
  • Skilled in accurate data entry and financial record management
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
