What can you expect in an IT Support Specialist role with TaskUs:

Think of yourself as an IT Asset Technician who manages IT assets throughout their lifecycle, handling onboarding and offboarding, repairs, equipment replacement, and deployment to new hires. This role focuses on asset management, technical support, and policy compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware assets using asset management tools, with traceability by location, user assignment, and lifecycle status.
• Coordinate with procurement to acquire IT assets, ensure timely deployment, tagging, and assignment in line with organizational requirements.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT assets—from acquisition and deployment to upgrades, decommissioning, and secure disposal in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure asset movements and records comply with internal policies and applicable regulations.
• Maintain documentation to support internal and external audit processes.
• Generate inventory, lifecycle, and compliance reports as requested to support visibility and decision-making.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage asset procurement, monitor warranty statuses, and ensure adherence to SLAs and contracts.
• Implement secure handling procedures for IT assets, including data protection during transfers and disposal.
• Analyze asset utilization data to identify cost-saving opportunities, reduce redundancy, extend hardware life, and inform procurement planning.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on proper use and care of IT assets, and coordinate with IT support teams to maintain asset performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Compliance to align asset management practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of proven experience in IT asset management, hardware repairs, and technical support.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware components, and software applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and transport IT equipment as needed and may require standing for extended periods during setup and installation.
• Primarily office-based with occasional visits to other locations for hardware setup, repairs, or decommissioning.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Available to provide support during off-shift hours if needed.

Education / Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT/Computer-related field

• Onsite in Imus, Cavite
• Shifting Schedule
