About the role

As a Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of the company by effectively managing outstanding debts and maintaining positive customer relationships. This full-time position is located in Pasig City, Metro Manila, and is an integral part of our dynamic Collections team.

What you'll be doing

Proactively contact customers with overdue payments to negotiate repayment plans and resolve outstanding balances
Maintain detailed records of all customer communications and payment arrangements
Identify and escalate high-risk accounts to the appropriate team members for further action
Provide exceptional customer service and work closely with clients to find mutually agreeable solutions
Collaborate with the wider Collections team to develop and implement effective strategies for debt recovery
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience in a Collections or Customer Service role, preferably within the financial services industry
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to maintain detailed records and generate reports
A customer-centric approach with a genuine desire to find solutions that benefit both the customer and the company
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex payment issues
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct
