Role accountabilities Lead the delivery of cost management in commercial/retail/residential and transportation projects Deliver projects within cost, time and quality standards, applying significant technical knowledge and experience in the field Create project costings and budgets from clear objectives, managing finances across a project to meet profit and budgetary targets and achieve best value outcomes Demonstrate understanding of clients’ key objectives within the appropriate sector Assure compliance with contracts in terms of project delivery parameters and scope of service Analyse and compile complex data and documents, review analyses, and provide recommendations to support project decision-making Use knowledge and experience of industry best practice to support the development of current cost and commercial management systems and processes Work to improve services and drive innovation to increase team contribution to project delivery Manage relationships with customers to identify opportunities to improve the cost management offering and deliver customer satisfaction Build valued relationships with senior clients and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction, develop the cost management service, and create new business opportunities Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent 15 to 25 years of relevant experience in cost and commercial management, with a strong focus on mobility projects, especially highways/railways Master’s Degree (advantageous) MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) certification is mandatory Proven expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts, negotiate contracts, and interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders Knowledgeable in standard methods of measurement such as NRM, RMM and MMHW Proficiency in technical platforms such as COSTX, Power BI, Smartsheet, and BIM Measure is advantageous Why Arcadis?
