Fixed Assets Accountant

JOB DETAILS

The primary responsibility of this role is to review, investigate and provide insights on projects and fixed assets. You will work as part of a closely knit team to deliver multiple services (daily, weekly, monthly activities) within the Project & Fixed Assets function and contribute to ongoing improvements for the team.

• Creating assets as instructed by business partners
• Reconciling and maintaining assets for business partners
• Providing depreciation and fixed asset reports to business partners
• Assisting with business partner queries on projects and AUC
• Completing key Asset GL reconciliations
• Completing half year & full year requirements including:
  1. Audit Requests
  2. Statutory reporting
  3. Reconciliation of projects/additions by Business
• Other activities include:
  1. FAR structure, data integrity and alignment across several different asset register models within the business
  2. Processing key data cleanse & rationalisation activities
  3. Assisting with process documentation
  4. Assist with implementing process improvements within the team

• Essential :
  • Finance-related degree with a CA or CPA qualification
  • 1-4 Years of relevant experience, and exposure in retail/large corporate will be advantageous
  • Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros), Powerpoint, SAP, SAP BW, BPC
  • Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to synthesise large amounts of data from a variety of sources
  • Strong presentation and storyboarding skills

• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: Php50,000.00 - Php65,000.00 per month
• Schedule: 8 hour shift
• Supplemental pay types: 13th month salary
• Ability to commute/relocate: Pasig City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
• Education: Bachelor's (preferred)
• Experience: Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
• License/Certification: CPA (preferred)
