Universal Robina Corporation (URC) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Buyer to join our Flour Manufacturing team. The Technical Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing technical materials and services required for the manufacturing process. This role involves working closely with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure technical materials and services for flour manufacturing.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions for the company.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: Preferably with experience as a technical buyer in an FMCG company, with in-depth exposure to spare parts, services, and operational supplies.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
