Senior Accountant, Fund Accounting | Hybrid Setup | HMO on Day 1 Location: Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines Company Description IQ‑EQ is a leading Investor Services group that combines global expertise with an unwavering focus on client service delivery. Job Description A review position responsible for validating fund accounting deliverables and ensuring quality standards. This role performs detailed reviews of financial statements and supports complex accounting processes while serving as a technical resource for preparers. The position focuses on quality assurance and maintaining accounting standards across deliverables. Responsibilities Review financial statements, NAV calculations, and client deliverables Apply accounting standards and regulatory requirements Maintain strong knowledge of client‑specific requirements Contribute to and support process improvement initiatives Provide basic technical guidance to preparers Ensure compliance with established procedures Benefits Comprehensive remuneration: financial packages based on market rates, tailored to qualifications, experience, and skill profile Wellbeing: HMO coverage on Day 1 with 2 dependents covered, plus group life and accident insurance Annual leave: 26 days paid leave (subject to change due to job level) Hybrid working arrangement: flexible working arrangements available Support and development: training, tools, and development plans to grow and improve skills daily Qualifications Accounting, finance, or business administration graduate with CPA license or equivalent Minimum 5 years overall experience, 3 years in fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit, focusing on complex portfolios and advanced accounting modules Proficient in reviewing financial statements Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS or GAAP) and regulatory requirements Expert in validating capital calls, distribution workings, and fund books and records Skilled in reviewing and analysing complex transactions and operational procedures Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with a particular focus on Excel Excellent communication and feedback‑sharing skills Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues Professional demeanor with a “can‑do” attitude, able to cope with tight deadlines and work under pressure Additional Information At IQ‑EQ we want you to reach your full potential.
