Role and Work Arrangement Role: Senior Accountant Work Arrangement: Work from Home/Office/Hybrid Location: Hybrid and WFH (Philippines - Any CS Branch (Makati/Ortigas/Pampanga/Cebu/Tarlac)) Schedule: Mid/Morning shift Responsibilities Work on the assigned client or organizational audit/accounting work to produce the expected result in timely manner. Have regular interactions with the clients, seniors, and other office counter parts to collaborate on multiple tasks. Communicate work plan status and issues for both client and Senior Specialists. Coach and guide the team members on the new release notes, new features of various applications. Meet the communication and documentation standards to produce the expected and related work. Participate in improving the processes, practices, tools & systems. Collaborate with other team members to assist them with the deliverables or dependencies. Close check on team dynamics, disciplines, and focus. Associate engagement on issue resolutions, applying Mindset tools, proactive coaching, mentoring, etc. Involvement in firm leadership initiatives, problem solving, solutioning, etc. Skill development and leadership development. Preparation of Financial statements in accordance with the procedures and standards established in the practice. Review of financial statements prepared by the staff accountants. Take up complex CAS related work that is in line with the expectation of the role. Follow and demonstrate the company culture. Meet the quality, timeline and other standards and processes established by the practice. Qualifications and requirements Should have a sound knowledge of software tools and systems Active communicator and a great team player Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively Ability to balance many projects simultaneously Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines Ability to work independently Ability to Analyze data and recommend solutions Ability to identify, address and resolve client concerns Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor Ability to be flexible with scheduling to meet workflow demands Ability to maintain client confidentiality, personal objectivity, and professional skepticism Openness to travel - Occasional overnight travel may be required, and overseas travel will likely be required for approximately one week each year Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional certifications such as CA / CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or any other equivalent degree Bill.com or Intacct certification is preferred but not required at the time of interview At least 4 to 7 years of job-related experience in the public accounting field with an emphasis on U.S. GAAP accounting Prior experience in the Construction and Real Estate industry is a plus Previous experience in US accounting roles at an accounting firm and BPO is also preferred, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint and Outlook and software applications: depreciation, document management systems and one or more accounting packages such as Bill.com, QBO, Intacct, MIP Abila, and Business Central, etc. Technology skills and Competencies: Advanced skills in Excel formulas including Array Functions Basic knowledge of Power BI and other Microsoft tools like Power Automate, MS Forms, Visio Operational and benefits information including health and life insurance, flexible leave, and career development opportunities About Cloudstaff Cloudstaff: Build Your Career, Anywhere Established in 2005, Cloudstaff is a leading outsourcing company that empowers businesses to thrive through smarter talent solutions.
