About This Job Ensures quality of software products by creating and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. Responsibilities Monitors adherence to quality standards in the development, implementation and upkeep of software products. Monitors effectiveness of the assurance process and tools. Participates in sprint planning to discuss the latest requirements of software development and determine the following tasks. Provides guidance and technical instruction to junior engineers on Extreme Programming. Designs, develops and maintains related infrastructure and platform according to client's changing requirements. Executes tests to compare results with requirements, verifies test requirements, identifies defects, and ensures compliance. Reviews functional, design, and data specifications and stories to derive use cases and test plans. Writes test scripts, use cases, queries and plans to achieve QA objectives. Provides reference for users by writing and maintaining user documentation and assisting the user acceptance process.
