About This Job

Ensures quality of software products by creating and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities
  • Monitors adherence to quality standards in the development, implementation and upkeep of software products. Monitors effectiveness of the assurance process and tools.
  • Participates in sprint planning to discuss the latest requirements of software development and determine the following tasks.
  • Provides guidance and technical instruction to junior engineers on Extreme Programming.
  • Designs, develops and maintains related infrastructure and platform according to client's changing requirements.
  • Executes tests to compare results with requirements, verifies test requirements, identifies defects, and ensures compliance.
  • Reviews functional, design, and data specifications and stories to derive use cases and test plans. Writes test scripts, use cases, queries and plans to achieve QA objectives.
  • Provides reference for users by writing and maintaining user documentation and assisting the user acceptance process.
