Desktop Support Engineer (Makati)

Location: Makati, Mon to Friday 7AM to 4PM. Open for project-based employment (1yr renewable contract). 8-hour shift. Fixed-term contract length: 12 months. Salary/Compensation: Not specified in this section.

Job Description

Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting problems in a timely and accurate fashion and providing end-user assistance where required. Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software problems. When unable to resolve, escalate to 2nd level or 3rd level per Service Desk processes. Manage service requests, software installation, new computer setups, upgrades, etc.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of IT support experience
• Open for project-based employment (1yr renewable contract)
• Willing to work in Makati, Monday to Friday 7AM to 4PM
• Willing to render OT during weekends/rest days if needed
• Education: Bachelor’s preferred
