Job Title: Sales Officer

Department: Commercial

Reports to: Senior Sales and Marketing Manager / Sales Manager

Job Description

The Sales Officer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. He/She will be passionate about sales, customer-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team to drive the growth of our company.

Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company.
  • Develop a sales strategy to generate revenue from existing and new clients.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify new business opportunities by researching and reaching out to potential clients. Conduct cold calls, lead generation, and arrange meetings to close sales.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions. Follow up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and sales meetings to potential clients. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, industry changes, and competitors. Analyze customer preferences and competitor offerings to improve sales strategies.
  • Customer Support: Ensure smooth onboarding of clients and offer post-sales support. Resolve customer queries or issues related to products or services. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer information, and pipeline progress. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress and ensure accountability.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Sales Targets/Revenue; New Client Acquisition; Client Retention Rate; Sales Conversion Rate.
Key Skills and Qualities
  • Strong Communication: The ability to clearly articulate the value proposition of the cargo data exchange system to different stakeholders.
  • Sales Acumen: Understanding of sales techniques, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Technical Understanding: A basic understanding of the logistics data exchange platform and its functionalities.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to understand and address client needs effectively.
Qualifications
  • On-site availability in Pasay, Philippines.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
